The LMS debate: Moodle Me This Batman
I have used WebCT in the past (4 years ago or so) and if I was to attribute an emoticon to that experience I would have to give it a :( . My present courses are being run using Blackboard 9 and I find it so limiting and archaic that sometimes I feel it would be better if I just created my own course wiki instead.
I am now designing a new course using Moodle and on the surface it seems much better. However, I would be curious to hear of any problems or issues that those who use Moodle may have. Specifically, I am looking for comments on particular features that do not work as well as they should (i.e. they work better in theory than in practice).
